DYKWYK?’s Media Literacy and Civic Engagement Virtual High School Fellowship

Program dates: June 22-August 7

Applications open now until June 15th. The application link is located further down on this page.

The DYKWYK? High School Fellowship is a youth-led program designed to equip students with the tools to navigate today’s information landscape critically, thoughtfully, and responsibly.

Supported by Carnegie Corporation of New York through the Institute for Citizens & Scholars, the fellowship brings together high school students interested in media literacy, democracy, digital culture, public discourse, and social impact.

Through workshops, discussions, collaborative projects, and engagement with professionals across policy, journalism, research, and civic leadership, fellows will explore how misinformation, online influence, and digital systems shape society and everyday life.

The fellowship encourages students not only to better understand the modern information environment, but also to become active contributors to healthier and more informed communities.

Fellowship dates : June 22-August 7
